Basic Vanilla Cake
Hi bakers, welcome back to my
blog, today we will be learning how to do a basic vanilla or almond cake. For
this recipe we have two options, the one the flower bag brings with recipes for
other recipes or the one I will be showing you here today.
2 bars of butter
6 eggs divided in whites and
yolks
1 ½ cups of sugar
2 ½ cups of Flower
1 ½ cups of milk
3 tablespoons of the desired
flavor
2 cups of water
½ cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of desired flavor.
To start, we mix the butter at
room temperature until it is soft. Then we add sugar and mx until it is well
mixed. At third we add the egg yolks and mix. We add the desired flavor, for
starters I recommend using vanilla or almond that are the easier ones. Now add
the flower and milk alternating them. We mix the batter for 3 minutes. In a separated
bowl we add the whites and mix them at a high speed until it reaches nougat
point. After it is ready we add the whites to the rest of the mixture in an
enveloping way. At last we grease the
bowl we are going to bake in and add the mixture. I recommend you to grease it with
the spam spray. We bake it at 350 degrees
for 25 minutes or until it is completely baked. If you are eating this cake at the moment you
can leave if without a syrup but if you are not we need to add a syrup that for
doing it we will start by boiling water. After it boils we add sugar and the
flavor you used for the cake. When the cake is completely baked, we add this mixture.
This prevents it from drying and getting a flavor of a pound cake.
